Featured Replies

Hey guys and gals,

Here are the pics of the mods done to the lights. Next up are eyelids.

Might have ben asked before but.......Were did you get the mesh grills Cool!!!!

Mesh Grills are Fabia GT grills. Got the sprayed with the factory silver paint that's on silver fabias. If you look carefully in the front cluster pic you will see the black bevels i mentioned on the new lights.

can't see the bevels mate but you know exactly where they are so are easier for you to spot, maybe a another close up with them highlighted would help :)

btw i've only just realised who you are, didn't realise the name change

your car looks good in the daylight  needs some nice big wheels now :D

Ill try and get close up pics done:)

Ah you haven't been on in a while then, the great ColinD changed my name for me and put in brakcets (once Fabia 2.0RS)...I erased it yesterday so...sorry :o

I was going to get 17s but I've decided not since big wheels slow a car down..I know it would look great if I did, but I'm more on the performance side...so instead I'm getting myself a small subwoofer to fill in the low end I crave :)

Who knows, maybe in a few months I'll decide to get big wheels...:D

if you get very good quality wheels they could easily be lighter than the wheels you have but bigger so look better and also allowing you to have a better tyre profile giving you lower side walls so better handeling :D

and i'm on here every day so not sure how i missed that one :o

Looking good

Pity you didnt post a pic before you put the film on the front lights! Is there a site that shows the lights standard?

Doesn't that headlight film just make your lights less effective at night?

Very minimal effect on the lights, just makes it 'bluer'......it actually looks very nice at night, and I believe that with the film it's helped reduce the brightness of my lights to a very small extent where other drivers aren't dazzled...

I might take it off, depending on my mood...do you guys think I should take it off? The film that is? Or should I leave it on?

No seriously do they look good on or should I remove them? And don't tell me just for the sake of looking at the real thing! I want to know before I fit those lids on..

i like it, i say leave it :)

thats one smart Fabia!!! it looks really nice goes well with the black :)

Honestly, it looks fab(ia)!! Leave the film on!

I would really like a look at what the clusters looked like before you put the fil on though, there must be a site or place that i can email to ask to see a pic no?

Ummm why have you put an RS logo on a none RS (vRS) car?

  • Author

It's not an RS logo, it's a motorsport Victory logo ;) If I was daft and envoius I would have put the vRS badge in the rear, but I haven't ;)
