Roomster scout lowering springs

Featured Replies

Hi all, newbie here after advice,I have just bought a Roomster Scout 1.6 petrol,2007 model,I want to lower the suspension a tad,but there doesnt seem to be any springs available for the scout model,I dont want to fit coilovers as its mainly for cosmetic purposes and to eliminate a bit of body roll,my question is-will springs for a non-scout model roomster fit the scout?,and if so any pointers where to get them, thanks in advance for any input or advice

Welcome to the forum. Great choice of car BTW ;)

Sure I can't convince you to go for coilovers?........

IMHO the Scout element is 'just' a trim level so I would have thought that as ling as you can source springs for a regular Roomster then they should be fine

Hi jonnny5ive,thanks for the reply, that looks spot-on!,only picked the car up this week and impressed up to now,I have made my mind up tho,I just want springs for the appearance and to cut the wallowy ride a little,so you reckon uprated springs for any Roomy will be ok?
