I will be keeping the originals just in case of any issues, sorry mate.

I am gonna plasti dip mine.....I have 11 cans of the stuff! Probably end up plasti dipping the cat just to use it up!

Btw....is the tool to remove them with the spare? Haven't looked yet and it's wet and dark out!

Yes the tool is in with the spare in fact both tools were in mine (plastic and metal).

OK, so after a bit of messing about the EBAY seller finally confirmed they had no 24mm diameter covers that would match (only the ones embossed with Volkswagen would fit).

I decided to dremel out the new wheel nut cover (basically removing the clips but leaving the raised hexagon part intact) and then cut off the nut shaped part from the Skoda security nut cover. As the diameter of the new cover and the old cover are very close I then super glued them inside each other and this is the result I have.

Mate, how are your self-painted/plastidip covers holding up? Are they still looking good? I am going to do mine but figured I'd make sure they stand the test of time first :) ta

Genuine part numbers: wheel nut cover 867 601 173 01C

Lock nut cover:1U0 601 173 01C

This is what I got from the dealer after refurbing mine

Just remember you need 16 of part no: 867 601 173 01C and 4 of the lock nut covers, it's under a tenner for the lot.

Ah cool... May go that route then!

If you go on skodaparts and put in wheel nut cover they got all different coloured ones and there oem so you know your getting the right size and you can order and pay over the phone I've used them a few times now and the service has been excellent and you only pay p&p once not on ever cover.
