wheel centre badges

Featured Replies

right im getting my wheels refurbed next week and my badges need replacing they are looking a bit scruffy now, im considering some of these http://3dcarstickers.com/en/category/skoda/ but im just wondering how well they fit, the standard badges are curved so im wondering how these type badges sit look etc.

I know i can get these http://www.skodaparts.com/product/wheel-centre-cap-35694, but does anyone know if you can just get the badge bit from skoda , even better what about the new logo?

cheers furn

I've done group buys of stickers in the style of the ones in the first link and while the caps themselves are concave they don't look like it once the sticker is stuck on top.

Alternatively if you're really picky you could always fill the dip in the caps then stick the new badges on top.

The dealers will only sell complete caps rather than just the chrome bit although you can now buy the new logo version from the dealers.

Have a search for new logo/badges and theres a massive thread from Bluvrs2 who fitted them.

Or as a final option have a look in the group buy section at my badge thread.

All mine as custom made to order so you could design something new and be unique

New logos from the dealers the ones to go for.I was the trail blazer !

The old style are crap though and start delaminating within the year and look naff

These would look good on my blackline neptunes i think, Anyone got any pictures of these on a black alloy?

Can a group buy be organised ;) I'd need 8No.

Daft questions guy's....................how easy is it to change the centres? Do they just push out?

Just wondered as we have black neptunes and they are off for the winter, so I could swap them out if it's easy.

Yeah, they just pop in and out. Getting them out can require a bit of a push but it'll come out eventually.

Mine are now approaching 6 years old and are starting to flake and corrode... as is the grille badge. Time to look for some new ones.

Shame, on mine the badge is in the middle of a large cover (elegance model)

A small heads-up on those 3dcarstickers.com badges. For some moronic reason the guy who did those didn't use a 2d logo but went with a 3d logo underneath the resin (which would make it plenty 3d on its own). Pictures in post #17 of this thread.

cheers for all the replies

i like the look of the new style skoda badges they would suit my black car and shadow chrome alloys, but i would have to change the rest of the car badges to match. The other thing is i like the black and green theme as i have the older green calipers , i think im going to try the 3d carstickers.com badges first and see how they look my main reason for the post was how they sat on the original centres with them not being flat, but i think they will be ok.ill post some pics up when i get them done and fit the new badges!
