need parts

Featured Replies

hi when i close my diesel flap it just stays open i have noticed it is missing part of the clip what holds it shut. does anyone know what they are called as i cant find one anywhere?????

My sisters tdi had a similar problem, on hers you had to look inside the boot and pull the lining out a bit. You could then see that the catch had popped out inside the car, my solution was to use a small jubilee clip which held it in place.

Yep it will have popped out as said its inside the boot.

Either use a clip as above or some superglue/epoxy!

it still has abit of metal there but looks like the bit that clips into the flap has gone.

I bet it will be what silver fox said. It's a common thing happened on mine a couple of time now.

Can't help you with a part number or where to buy one from. But if you look in your boot first, you'll probably see that its still attached to the cable and has just popped out... Go check now.

*EDIT*

Too slow
