Lowering options

Featured Replies

Hi recently purchased an 05 fabia VRS and wonder what options are best for lowering please wether to go coilovers or shocks and springs? Not looking to spend a huge amount of money but wanting decent results any advice would be much appreciated :)

Depends what you want, to go low or to keep ride comfort, with springs the only option is about 25mm which in my opinion is completely pointless anyways as you can't tell it's been lowered, coilovers will always be the best option on the vRS just depends how much you want to spend, obviously the more you spend the better quality and ride comfort you get.

Well I would say go at least 40mm if not more! Someone did recommend ap coilovers and I've seen some for around £450 just wondered if there was any cheaper options that are as good but obviously I understand you get what you pay for!

I've got joms fitted and would recommend them. Quite a good ride, can be abit bouncy around town but mines sitting fairly low. The arch is about sat where the to of the tyre is

Also got mine off of Damien and can't praise them enough
