Electric seats

Featured Replies

Does 2013 Yeti with electric seat adjust option have a 'memory'? E.G. when swapping between self and wife, would it go to her pre-set position?

I really MUST get around to ordering one.......

Yes.

Each key has it's own settings, so you programme one key for you and one for her.

Then you get them confused and squash yourself against the steering wheel!

As said.

Three memory buttons for the seat and you can set each key too.

When you unlock the car and open the door the seat moves to the position associated with that key.

Thanks for prompt replies.

Off topic - look on Fabia2 section for photo of all 5 of my family Fabias!

That beats the four Yetis in my family. :D

Hey, Boss Fox, just one Yeti will do me! Soon..........

It did us too.

My wife had the first.

I liked it so much I bought one too.

Then my Mum saw ours and did the same.

Then my Cousin followed suit after a family meeting.

Not only that but it remembers your individual MFD settings (if you happened to have customised them).

Even remembers the lumbar support setting as well.

Clever or what?

Can you explain the precise method for setting. The method in the manual does not work. Ta

I did it so long ago I can't remember, but I did follow the proceedure in the manual and it worked.

Took me a few goes to get it right though.

Sorry, but it was over a year ago!

I have since found out from a post on the Superb Forum. With ignition on, set the seat position. Turn the ignition off, open the car door, then press the unlock part of the remote fob inside 10 seconds.

Take that key we'll away from the car and set up the second remote fob.

It's too late to try this now so will report back tomorrow.

Still no luck with the seat. The Dealer is going to call me tomorrow so will get some time next week with their expert.

Electric seat is nice though.

Small wing mirrors.

Leaving SDHC card as it is because it's got all my iTunes music on it in MP3.

Air con boom seems to have gone.

Both of our phones are Bluetooth syncronised and it works well.

The panaoramic roof is something else. That will keep our grandson entertained.

Nive leather and comfortable, seat not as hard as our SZ5.

Strange no lock on the glove compartment...is is that controlled through the Maxi Dot.

So I am off for a drive.

No.

Why do you need a lock on the glove compartment?

Why do you need a lock on the glove compartment?

To lock posh gloves away maybe  :)

Back to the electric seat which I now have set for both KESSY keys.

Seat SET 1 for the wife SET 2 me.

Using key 1 (leave key 2 inside the house or well away from the vehicle).

1. Unlock the vehicle.

2. Sit in the seat.

3. Switch the ignition on.

4. Adjust seat to the desired position.

5. Adjust wing mirrors to the desired position.

6. Press SET then 1. Beep from dash.

7. Turn off the ignition.

8. Open door.

9. Press UNLOCK on the key fob within 10 seconds of 8.

10. All 4 indicators flash.

11. Get out.

12. Lock vehicle.

Take key 1 into house.

Second user to repeat the above with key 2 (again leave key 1 inside the house or well away from the vehicle)

Hurray.

I think you now deserve a nice cup of tea, and as you have been very good, a choccie biscuit.
