Hello all. I'm a 23 year old musician who gigs regularly and signed up to this forum for further advice on Skoda cars. I've read a lot of good things about them and I think an Octavia or Fabia is just what I need. I'm currently in the market to replace my first ever car which is on its last legs. I'll be trading in my Vauxhall Astra Estate soon and want something newer, better and more economical.

I've just posted this topic so if anyone wants to give me advice on which car to buy that would be awesome.

I use a Felicia estate for gigging (my second of the species) and find it excellent. Mind you, suspect you'll not find anyone here who says don't get a Skoda... Octavia a better bet, I think. fabia could be a bit small if you're carrying large equipment - drums, bas/keyboard kit, etc.

An Octavia Estate would be a pretty good choice. Would depend on budget but both would be fine. Mk2 would be bigger though

I have a mk2 fabia estate and with the rear seats folded down I can fit my bass guitar in it's flight case and my amp in no problem so for gigging it's fine for me.

I think a full drum kit would struggle to fit in?
