Who has screws holding their rear number plate on?

Featured Replies

I asked for both plates to be stuck on. The dealer said they stick the back ones on as standard - since the panel's flat - but insisted on screwing the front ones on because of plates dropping off...

Had to buy some s****y new 3D effect number plates in the end 'cos the cross threaded screw was stuck fast in the captive nut.

I ground 2 flats on the head of the screw & tried to unscrew it with some molegrips, but it just sheared the head off!

So, then I had to grind back the rest of the screw so it was flush with the nut.

It's all come good in the end though! Briskoda numberplate decals have been applied behind the plates, so I can do a bit of advertising @ shows & track days! ;)

I used the existing screws for the front plate.

The new plates look cool!
