Waiting to pick up Vrs, can I take the number plate mount sensors from my Fiat, with a beeper in the boot area, and have it fitted to the Octavia without too much trouble?Only noticed today not fitted as standard but not a dealbreaker

The signal wires for the reversing lights are in the boot running under the plastic trim on the boot lip between the light clusters.

I assume you will need the take the boot lid trim off and the lead wires through the metalwork of the window/boot lid through the rubber conduit into the roof lining and then down the c post to the lights.

It's just me, but I would just buy a new set for the bumpers. The bumper comes off easy, the holes are pre marked on the inside of the bumper and there is a grommet already for the cables into the boot.
