Exhaust Choice

Featured Replies

Hello

Im after an exhaust for my Occ'y, but im unsure of which make to go for!

My options:

Powerflow (Custom)

Blueflame

Miltek

Piper

Ideally i want a reasonably loud system, not so loud it sounds open downpipe but near to it on full throtte.

I know it sounds chavy but hey its my personal taste

Any idea's for me?

Cheers

Ade

I have a piper cat back and sounds very nice. Although i have a sports cat which makes it louder, I imagine it would be what your wanting. Sounds like you want a non res system as the resonated ones are quite quiet. Feel free to come and have a listen to mine :-)

I have a piper on mine, and it's reasonably loud ( 89db on castle combe's meter), with 3" downpipe and decat.

I don't like the sound of it inside the car (although to be fair it is stripped out), but outside it sounds nice.

Jetex here :)

I only have sound clips from inside the car sadly.

I have a Piper system and decat.

I went for a jetex oval sounds good is non resonated but don't sound like a chav with a tesco value bean can on a civic

Any vids guss?

There is some on youtube if you type in jetex octavia think its a resonated one though they show.

Another vote for the Jetex (non-res with Jetex 200 cell sports cat), nice burble on idle, no louder than standard up to 4/4500 rpm then starts to growl.

I had a resonated (twin box) Miltek system before that rotted out around the back box and never really fitted properly, so will certainly never go for one of those again.

My Jetex (Non-Res) with Milltek Sports Cat

Piper or custom if you want noise.

Jetex or Miltek not much louder than standard.

Don't recall hearing a Blueflame so can't comment on them.

Think Bowders1 put video of piper on here, try a search.

I am also running jetex sports cat 2.5 all the way through it sounds good
