brake line fittings

Featured Replies

hi all

2000 Felicia 1.3 MPi

-failed the NCT (MOT) on a couple of things (emissions....sigh... hoping its not the cat :wall: ) - anyway, i need to replace a corroded brake line..... before i start sourcing the bits and pieces, anybody know if the fittings are metric? -the line is 3/16, thats straightforward, its the fittings i'm not sure about.

any help greatly appreciated.

cheers

Metric m10x1... All the brake pipes have male fittings... Before you go buying up bits and pieces try buying the brake pipes from skoda, the genuine ones are less than £5 and they come pre bent, laminated, with the flares and everything ready to fit to the vehicle. Saves you a lot of ball ache and will last 15 years or so, whereas if you make one from copper you will be replacing it again next year.

i need some when i do breaks as want new ones....
