Hi all,

I have recently had new shocks on the car and I'm now looking to fit lowering springs. I prefer looking for a 40mm lowering option but can't find any springs that will lower by 40mm can anyone please help me out?

I had eibach 30mm springs on my old vrs, sat and drove nice

Hi pal sure I saw sum 40mm springs here www.dpmperformance.co.uk think they were £ 155 plus vat

I think PI springs offer a 40mm drop, but they used to be ****e.

I've just ordered AP Springs and shocks for mine with a 25-30mm drop, same kit is advertised as a 40mm drop on the non-vrs models though. It seems alot of the manufacturers sort them like this.

I've noticed that most manufacturers offer mostly between a 25/30mm drop as the vrs is apparently already lower but mine seems way high. Is 30mm low enough in these cars I'm unsure as I've not long had it?

For me it just wasn't low enough when I was on eibach springs especially on 17" spiders, changed them for ap coilovers.

You'll struggle to get a full 40mm drop from just lowering springs on the VRS.

I'm looking at getting JOM coilovers as they seem pretty good for the money. They go down 35-55mm i think?

They'll go about 70-80mm if you really want, possibly more.

Be prepared to destroy the handling and ride comfort though

Yeah mines on 17" spiders at the min with standard suspension. Its the range rover stance!

I never had joms I had eibach springs which I sold, I have had joms on a previous car and I have to say I think your better of saving for better coilovers like ap, wietec or kws
