VRS SE rear leather seats "pinching"

Featured Replies

Anyone else with leather in their labia get what i can only describe as a pinching sound from the rear?

Sounds like the leather is pinching on the plastic trim somewhere, it stops if i put the rear bench down. Messed about with it so much the release catch i snow broken as well

I have no leather in my labia, I had a similar thing in my last car and I broke half of it trying to find the fault with no success :(

MIne does exactly the same - most annoying, let me know if you find a fix?

I appear to have fixed this.

Wilkos sell velvet sticky pads for 99p (40). if you pull the bench forward you can see all down the sides and the back where the leather is shiny and been rubbing, stuck the velvet pads all along there and that fixed the pinching noise.

Then noticed i had a very similar sound coming form behind the bench, turns out the two plastic speaker covers in the rear where slightly loose and rattling as i drove glued them both in and now its silent when i drive

Great I will give it a try - job for the weekend!!
