Mapping through the OBD would still have invalidated my warranty. I hadn't got a Blufin or a STS unit to wipe my map. Anyway we're splitting hairs. If you maintain the car well with the proper oil and filters and drive it in a responsible and sympathetic manner, the car should last a long time. In saying that though, Garrett turbo chargers seem to have a very finite life span regardless of how you treat your vehicle!!!

Remapped at 132k on my Tfsi, night and day is bit strong but the power, when needed, is very impressive.

Clutch and turbo wear down to your driving style, boot it everywhere and it will be high!

Got mine remapped by a local garage, i don't trust garages I don't know with my car.
