Stealer told me yesterday that production of Vrs would not start until September, he said there might be a problem replacing current vrs at the end of PCP if ther was any slippage. Anyone else been told this?

Not heard anything my side, do they definately mean production starting in September or customers cars coming in September. Would seem very strange that Skoda would unveil it at Goodwood only to not be able to order it for 3 months after???

Regarding the PCP, you can speak to VWFS and notify them of the 'situation', they should be able to extend your contract in some way, shape or form. I know that if a customer is nearly at the end of their PCP and we put a new car order in then the finance company will extend the contract for the required time, you would however need to speak directly to VWFS to see how it lies without having a new car order on the system.

Would it be an option to put in the order with a deal that in case the car is delayed you will get a free loan car from the dealer?
