Is it worth leaving the heat cover on my blue elbow hose behind rocker then just to be safe

heat shield defo needed on these things as said my old coil loom was brittle cracked on outer cracked on inner was pretty shocking :(

no heat issue?

No heat issues at all with the wrinkle paint, its rated for about 170c. If you put heat to it after painting it make the wrinkles tighter. Some people put it in the oven after it semi dried.
