Passed MOT today! No advisories! Credit to previous owner who had it from new :-)

Octavia Vrs :-D

Nothing feels as good as driving away from a test centre the first time not having to go back.

I was failed on my NCT in January because my front indicator bulbs werent orange enough..

and my lights were focused a little too high.

grrrr....

Mine too, although it did cost me front disks & pads ...

Also stripped & rebuilt both headlamps & levelling motors the week before, so no more satellite spotting ;)

What impressed me was when i went to change the bulbs, the reason they werent "orange enough" was because the filament was so good in the bulbs, that the lacquer had flaked off from being in the car probably from new (8 1/2 yrs old then), turning them them more clear.

Good news!

Quite common with older cars to have to change for orange bulbs and it makes quite a difference- seems anal at the time but makes sense
