Went into halfords today while waiting for SWMBO to finish the sainsbury's run as she's not driving at the moment as she's broken her wrist. They've got cleaning products - polishes, shampoos etc on 3 for 2 at the mo. I didn't get anything as I couldn't remember what I'm running out of but as and example AG's 2.5l shampoo is 14.99, so 29.98 for 3, which is cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else.

I'm guessing they've got the usual proviso in place that if you buy 3 items with different prices you'll get the cheapest free so you'll need to keep this in mind. Might have to put several lots of 3 through seperatley if I go a bit daft.

For the range that they sell they're not bad. Meguiars and Autoglym stuff are similarly priced elsewhere, but with Halfords having stores you don't have to pay loads for delivery.

Got myself AG 2.5L Shampoo, AG 1L resin polish and turtle wax clay kit.

5 hours of cleaning and she is silky smooth. Very impressive.

Normally I'd say they were 'reasonable' and strike a balance between price/stock and local availability, but with this deal on you can get stuff that's just about cheaper than getting it anywhere else providing you choose the 3 items that are (roughly) the same price.

+1 on this as generally the larger online specialists add P&P to your order, so you need to spend a bit to spread the cost of the P&P to make it worthwile. I have found ebay useful though and in general you can get AG stuff on ebay cheaper than Halfords 'normal prices' with many items coming with free postage if you find the right seller.

Makes me feel better on stocking up on AG Shampoo, Clean wheels and odour thing-bobby.
