I must have a problem somewhere

Featured Replies

I have only had my superb for 6 weeks and have changed 7 dipped bulbs already, have tried ome, cheap ones and last night it blew one of my osram night breakers.

It normally is the OS that goes first then within a day the NS, had the wiring checked no faults found,by the auto electrician.

So going to get a set of HIDs, CE2s or something like that for the fitment, i believe

Anyone else have this problem

Are the connections to the bulb sound? I have had a recurring fault on SWMBO Altea with her o/s rear buld and the spring connections in the actual light unit were not making a very good connection so I bent them slightly so the extra pressure then made a better contact and I've not had it go since so you could have a loose connection that's causing the problem. Try switching the lights on and moving the wiring about to see if it makes any difference. Might be a loose fuse too?
