thanks

is it worth the extra

Yeah, the cat back sysytem has the rear box & connecting pipe to the cat. This will improve the sound with very little increase (if any) in performance.

The full turbo back system has the above plus hi-flow cat & large bore downpipe. This is supposed to improve power as well as sound.

what is a realist performance increase with this exhaust?

just spoke to milltek and they say upto 15bhp with the full system fitted

My Fabia vRS isn't remapped, and went from 129 bhp to 137.5 bhp; 220 lbs/ft to 244 lbs/ft torque with the addition of a full turbo-back Milltek, green panel filter and Cupra intake. (measured on the JBS RR each time)

But the main gain isn't in maximum bhp (how often do you use full power anyway?) but in the rate of turbo spool-up, which occurs earlier and quicker than with standard components. As a result, the car is more driveable and pokier.

With a remap you could expect bigger numbers.

It was one of a number of things that had to be taken into account, so I can't say how much the Milltek contributed. I also changed companies (to Chris Knott   ).

The insurence company were more interested in the numerical bhp gain than how it was arrived at. Say +

Does it seem to smoke more/less/the same with the Milltek, anyone who has one?

Less smoke, and the particulates on the tailgate seem a bit finer (so it doesn't look dirty as quickly).

I'd say more, but then the milltek isn't the only thing that's tweaked the performance / smokiness of my fabia :o

Ahh well, something else to add to my "When I have the cash" list  Cheers!

We have fitted a few of these exhausts.

The sound is fantastic.

The difference price wise for fitting system and the system with cat would be about half hour labour.

And if I wanted a set of coilovers popped in at the same time?... No' date=' No I must be sensible. Must calm down.:)

Cheers for the help. Must say I'm definitely considering it now [/quote']

Intake pipe is 6LL129618 and trumpet is 6LL129621 IIRC. It's in the Guides section for fitting instructions too.

Worth adding to the instructions that a flat screwdriver will really help easy off the trumpet part.

It's pretty easy to do, only 'tricky' bits are not dropping the phillips screw, and getting the trumpet to come out of the car itself. The rest will possibly need a little convincing to fit but it does, and it does make a noticable difference in ability to rev higher :)
