Hi we are thinking of ditching our useless vauxhall zaferia and purchasing an used octavia estate, we have found two we like in our budget, one is a 2009 plate se looks good but comes with high mileage (80000) the other is a 2006 plate elegance 2.0 tdi, this one has a low mileage of 50000. We are totally stuck we like both cars , any advice people can throw our way would be great

Other factors except the age being equal, I would personally go with the lower mileage car. If the newer one is in significantly better general condition, and it's history looks more complete etc, then I'd go for that.
