anyone know if the steering weight can be adjusted on my 56plate fabia tdi elegance?

i know i could on my old one (x reg) but someones tried on my car ive been told it cant be done.

any ideas? i cant see why not personally

pretty sure it can with full VCDS, IIRC the range is 1-5, 1 being the heaviest.

    See this was my assumption. I had it adjusted to 1 on my old car. The guy said he couldnt do it for some reason.

    Anyone local who can do it for beer tokens? ;)

    My steering is far too light!

    Can someone clarify what VCDS is to allow the adjustment?
