Advice please

Featured Replies

So annoyingly today I go and spot that my nearside front has a cut in it's sidewall, has occurred in the past 10 days as it wasn't there when I checked it the weekend before last.

Going to check in proper light the actual damage to see if I need a replacement

The car has only done just over 5k and there's plenty of tread left on all tyres, will it be worth me replacing the offside at the same time so to keep a pair and keep changes in sync?

Been out to see in proper light and I'm thinking it probably doesn't need replacing. What's your verdict?

Ive had similar damage and never had any problems. I d leave it. If you took it to a tyre shop im sure they'd want you to change it ££££££ keeeerching!

Its not very deep i would leave it just cut the loose bit off with a knife

That's nothing, you don't need to worry about that.

I agree, no problem.

Dab some super glue and stick the flap back in.

Work at a tyre centre that's fine mate :)
