Does The Monte Have A Alarm?

Featured Replies

Just a quick question,

Does the Monte Carlo come with an alarm as standard? And if so how is it activated, by pressing the lock button the fob twice?

I only ask because I have locked the car, and gave it a good shake 30 seconds later but no alarm went off. Just wanted to see what it sounded like.

Cheers,

Stu

You only press the lock button ONCE to deadlock and arm the alarm if it has one. Pressing twice locks without deadlocking.

Try sitting in the car and press the lock button on your remote... Sit back, wait and let the bells chime!

Leave a window open lock the car with one push. Wait 45 secs for the system to arm all circuits and then wave an arm around frantically inside the cabin through the window and see if it goes off

Yes, well ours does anyway.

Oh should have a disable button on the door if the alarm is fitted.
