i'm enjoying my Vrs, but I find the white needles on a white backlighting a bit dull

So i'm considering a swop to Blue or Red needles

will post up some pics soon

Sounds a good idea but would you not prefer green to fit with the ambient lighting?

I'm thinking blue to match the race blue

to change colour i would need to change 4x LEDs and swop needles with vw R version. Or paint the base of my needles with some blue paint

They are soldered, I have a couple of old clusters which I will practice on first

Theres a piece on VAG Works (?) in the latest PVW where they built a custom cluster using Passat, R and GTI bits. Looks amazing!

Had a little go on a spare cluster I had

 

 

I'm happy with the result

 

All I changed were the LEDs from white to blue, might try painting the base of the needles with blue paint to enhance the blue
