need a little bit help from the experts.

I have a issue with my Skoda Octavia VRS 2006 with BWA engine.

Yesterday I tried to replace my cam chain tensioner, but my problem is that I can´t remove

the cam cover. I had my valve cover of, the high presure fuel pump was of. All of the seven

bolt on the cam cover was of but it was stuck.

Do anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance!

I would think that it would be sealed on, so perhaps just some extra sticky sealant that needs breaking.

A blunt ruler or a razor blade should do the trick, just have to be careful not to damage the mating surfaces
