Further to the topic regarding the remap figures for the 2.0 TDi CR170, I was wondering what returns people have had having had their 2.0 TDi PD170 remapped?

I'm on the verge of getting mine done (just building up the funds again after having to replace the engine due to #4 shell bearing throwing a hissy fit), and have been quoted various figures from a number of companies: 195 to 210bhp and 295 to 325lbft, with prices varying from £285 (done outside the house) to £600 (this includes rolling road before and after read outs).

Any info would be great.

Had my last car remapped by JabbaSport, it was the PD vRS and it came out with 197bhp and 339lb ft of torque. The power graph was almost identical except all the figures were much higher if you get what I mean.
