In basic laymans terms, what do i need to get my i phone to work with my poxy horrible stream stereo please,i thought i could just plug the phone into the Aux socket in my arm rest but as per usual it aint that simple :(

Do you want it to work as a phone through the car's speakers?

You'll need Bluetooth for that, the Stream doesn't have a mic to allow you to be heard.

Or do you just want to play your music through the stereo?

Once the iPhone is plugged into the AUX socket inside the centre armrest all you need to do is hit the "CD" button on the bottom left corner of the head unit a couple of times until the screen shows "AUX in..."

I think you just plug it into the aux socket and push the cd button twice should switch it to aux then you should be able to play music

The Stream doesn't allow Aux input.

The Stream MP3 does and, if fitted, the iPod can be plugged into the Aux input using a 3.5mm stereo cable.

No control of the iPod from the head unit though.
