Yeti facelift spy photos

Yawn.

Already been discussed and dismissed.

You'd think that they could have come up with better than the sticker for the rear door handle and for the rear lights!

  • That isn't the design. It's camouflaged.

Surely even the most ardent Yeti fan wouldn't describe the current car as pretty? It is a shame to lose the round fogs (the designer wanted to keep them but boardroom said no), but I do think they di

  • The rear mounted wheel looks very much like a decoy. The handle appears to be a sticker and it cannot hinge sideways, as you can see by the curve in the bumper on the right, it would be crushed if you

The rear on the 'spy' photos looks like a Nissan Soul with a wheel added. No likey.

If you look carefully, taking particular attention to the rear door stickers and the small panel over the rear bumper, below the lights, you might note that there are 2 different vehicles photographed.

Yeah, their both different vehicles, notice one says Suzuki sport, and the other one doesn't. Do you also see where theres a panel gap where the wheel could be similar to the VW suv, the wheel would clip over to the left, and then you'd open the boot as normall.... I really like that if it is for real! or it could just be some tape!

They did say theres an off road package, or a regular one... so it sounds promising. :)

Oooo I also just got excited about what if they have SKODA stamped in the rear wheel cover!!

I'm quite sure that wheel cover set-up is totally fake!!

Manufacturers are going away from swing-away wheel carriers as they cause too many problems, especially in rear-end collisions. Allegedly even the new Defender replacement isn't going to have one!

But, of course, Graham himself would acknowledge that even this is pure speculation ;)

Given that they are trying to persuade us not to have spare wheels it seems pretty unlikely that any new design would feature a rear mounted spare.

Glad we are getting a new one before the tail lift. Like a facelift only worse !!

Hmm. The grille area looks very cumbersome to me and the tiny round lights (fogs?) are rather lost. Not a design classic to my eye - but who knows how reliable this photo is?

Those tiny lights looks like stickers too, the left one in particular doesn't appear to have any depth. The headlights looks like they've been taped up to look like a Suzuki's.

Its certainly made up to look really terrible though.

It just gives us a slightly better idea of what it will look like IMO - ie. quite chiselled at the front with a wider, lower grille (which will make the whole car look wider)

Just to add for fuel to the fire about a face lifted Yeti, I came across this...http://www.autoforum...uzuki/obrazek/0

Of course as this year progresses, we will have a clearer idea of what the facelift will truly look like...

But I am quite taken with the rear facing radar. (But not totally sure whether it's so that the car will automatically speed up if approached too fast by another vehicle from the rear or for use when reversing at speed?)

its yeti but in suzuki grand vitara avatar.

Yeti Facelift will be at the Frankfurt Motorshow (September 12th-22nd) so shouldn't be too long before we see some official pics.

Hmmm... time to book a camp site in Frankfurt then me thinks. I've done it before... The camp site is about four train stops from the Messe where the show is held.

Ah a nose!

Difficult to see but some heavy disguise though.

I like the spare wheel solution they've come up with!

'We'll just bolt it on the boot, it'll be fine' :D

Except it is just part of the disguise...  That won't happen.

shame, I quite like it :(

Doesn't look much of a facelift to me, change the front and rear lights and put a chrome ring around the air-vents...

The new Yeti looks set to look like that new 'BabyTiguan' that is in the pipeline.......or maybe the other way round. Have to admit that I quiet like the photos of the smaller version of the Tiguan that are floating around the web.
