Hi Guys,

Iam due to replace my rare break pads on my skoda octavia 2007 vRS 2.0 tdi.

Problem is there are two types on with the spring on the top and ones without.

Even if I type my car to europarts ,result always shows me these two options but I don't really know whivh ones I need.

Any advise on this problem?

if you look under the carpet in the boot there will be a sticky label with all the options codes for the car (pr codes), one of these codes will relate to the type of rear brake calipers used, some parts places can look them up from this code, but don't be afraid to go to the skoda dealer for parts, quite often stuff like brake pads are not as expensive as you might expect, often they are cheaper than pattern parts.

Failing that you could just whip the caliper off and have a look which type they are.

+1, and sometimes if you call ECP with your VIN, they can then tell you.
