Wind deflectors!

Featured Replies

Personally - no idea.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've driven with the windows down in my numerous years of "car with AC" ownership.

Had those on my VRS, these are the (in Germany approved) ClimAir deflectors.

It works, you can always have the window a little opened even if it rains. (for the smokers)

Also have them on my A6.

I've just had the OEM ones fitted for free by my dealer and I quite like them. On a black motor they look better than I thought they would from outside the car as well.

No more drips into the inside when driving for ME! :)

This. ^^^

Rain and screenwash stay outside when the window is only open an inch or two.

I have a set I got off eBay. Fitted fine and work a treat for me :)

I have heko ones fitted just now. I can honestly say when driving with window down you still get battered with wind. Can't say they improve air circulation or not. However on a black car they look good and that's the only reason I have them.

my mate has them on his octy 61 plate, and he said that he likes his window down, but doesn't like the rain getting in so fitted them and made the world of difference

For me personally, this deflectors from 20th Century, they were fitted to silly Japanice mini vans, looks disgusting and don't change almost anything.Had them once in previous life.

Avoid for 100% please! ))))

I have them on mine, dark tinted blue on a blue car. look good, work well and the tint is ideal as it blocks the sun in a very awkward place - drivers side window.

You've got me wondering now. Could you upload a picture please?

Yeah, mine were mainly for the rain, not the wind, but I'm glad I got them. Didn't bother with the rear ones as I rarely have anyone in the back.

Also have Team Heko ones on mine(front only) look really good and as said keeps out the water.

I just got a set of Heko front and rears for my car and I like them. They don't stick out a mile (like those mentioned above on old japanese minivans) and as said you can leave the windows down a little without worrying about the wind / rain. I have an issue with the clips that you wedge them in with as the rubber seal around the window is quite wide and I have found the clips don't stay in place very well. I am still experimenting with the locations of the clips to see if I can get them to stay put.
