Update!

I've been recalled!

Took mine into the local dealer on Tuesday. They said it may take a while so I called back in an hour.

Still not done so waited another 30 mins.

Mechanic said he had a problem downloading the software and was awaiting a call back from SKODA.

Went to pub. Downed way too many to drive home.

Picked car up at 1130 next day. All done.

I've had my letter through.

Just got to phone for an appointment.

They don't seem to rush themselves do they!

As a matter of interest has any one here that have been recalled just hat to have the software upgraded,or has any one hat to have a new control unit as well.

Software only on ours

Software only on my car.

  • 3 months later...

Just checked my vin and mine is one of those affected.

Need to check my service book to see if it was done before I bought it

If not I need to book it in

I will include the range of affected vehicles in the FAQ and useful info sticky later

Nope, not been done :(

Better call the dealer then

FAQ and Useful Info now updated

Has this been the only Citigo software update? I ask as when I picked up our new Sport in August the dealer kept me waiting an extra hour as they said they'd just received an update and the car must have it before I take it?

Not sure mate

I will report back after the dealer has done that airbag one, whether anything else needed doing

Better check mine now.
