Seat Rip Weird Elec Window

Featured Replies

Hello guys and gals, new to the forum. Hope you can help.

Just bought 05 plate VRS with 63k.

There is a really annoying rip in the driver seat (back cushion on bolster) which no one seems able to match or stitch together. This means new cover time so they say. Approx £100 new. Does any one have any grey fabric or good condition cover for sale.

The electric window on drivers side goes down lovely but seems strange going up. Sometimes no probs but others you need to go all the way down to go up again. Gave me a bit of a fright as it happened when it was chucking down and I wasn't sure I could get it up again.

Also, does any one have any ideas on cupholders. Seemingly they left this out when thinking about the design.

Much appreciated. Thanks all. :hi:

Regarding the drivers elec window, are you aware that there is a one tough system on it? What I mean is you press it down then it goes all the way down.

Try it - press it gently and you can control it but press a little bit harder and you'll feel it click all most then it will go all the way down.

You might be aware of it but it's a mistake I made in the first week of owning my fabia :)

Window will go eventually!

Knackered regulator

Absolute mare of a job! Requires a new door carrier

They dont need a new door carrier for just a window regulator. I fitted one to my passenger side door. Its not that hard of a job just awkward. I done mine in about an hour and im not a mechanic
