Why no Superb Vrs?

Featured Replies

I think it was me who mocked this up years ago. I think it would be a winner.

superb vrs

If they had made one I would have had one,

Looks like it will be an octavia 3 vrs for me in the future then.

don't think there is a market for them really, its to big a car to have a vrs badge and gear put on it, the octavia and fabia vrs do i think

So where does that put the Audi RS6, S8, Merc AMG 63, Jaguar XF-R................

....maybe lack of engines, gearboxes, breaks, etc... for Superb for that heavy car.

IMHO there´s no sport version of Passat either.

Whats the R36 Passat then? :)

Personally I think the 3.6 awd Superb is enough - more of a luxury car admittedly but with decent handling and power rather than an out and out racer but still very capable.

yea of course R36 is "quicker" version of Passat as the Superb 3.6 is with non full V6 engine. You cant compare to Audi S or BMW M series which have 500 or more bhp engines and all the sport goodies.

Ha!

I saw a silver one with a VRS badge added recently , pretty tragic really

No argument from me. I am tragic. It does a great job of further confusing people here in Oz though.
