Just bust my wiper mechanism trying to strip it down after it seized, are the other vag cars in which the octy shares its components with the same? Golf etc..

I suspect the mk4 Golf is the same (the wiper blades are the same length).

There's numbers on the spindle cranks which I believe refer to the degrees the rack sweep the wiper

I got one from a 99 V-reg golf the mechanism is identical but the motor needed to be swapped over.

I guess the motors were changed between 99 & 03 at some point.
