Turbo cleaning products

Featured Replies

Since i got the car i had a feeling it was a bit dull. Everyone i talked to said that it is normal for the 90 hp engine. Seeing i dont have access to vcds or anything diagnostic related i was thinking of trying one of the cleaning products. http://innotecturboclean.co.uk/ is what i was looking at. Is it worth it or should i just gather a hefty amount of cash and take it to a certified garage to be looked at?

The UK favourite at the moment seems to be Mr Muscle. This will only clean the exhaust side of the turbo, so won't deal with any rust/issues with the control ring assuming your turbo is VNT based and not a wastegate one.

The best, but most time consuming method is to drop the exhaust manifold off and clean it properly.

Tbh i got no idea wich one it is. Not realy much into car tech and not brave enough to go mess with taking engine apart.
