Depending on the age of your car, it might not be possible to set this up using the key, without an external controller such as the Alientech unit.

You can do it with the key anyway in the lock, simply insert the key in the door and hold in the lock position and the windows will close.

I can do it, got some software that I used to do mine with. It works both ways too. You can make them all go up and down with the lock/unlock buttons on the remote. Fairly close to you too (Ossett, near wakey).

can this be done to a 2002 octavia vrs

Can be done to any MK4 golf based car iirc. Done it to 2 octavias and an 05 plate Leon cupra R with no problems.

I have this done too.

Not actually a great lover of it as a few time times I have walked away from car and pressed remote which you need to hold down and then ended up out of range (range is a lot closer than the central locking) only to find my windows half open when i returned to car

They were open all night once and it p****d it down with rain.

So you need to double check windows ....

Would be a better mod if they just auto close or open on just one press on the remote. That is what I would truly call auto close

Mine auto close, that would be really annoying having to hold button down.

Does this software work for the fabia mk1 vrs to ??
