98 Pickup coilovers?

Featured Replies

No those are for normal type lowering springs, not coilover type.

I haven't had my units delivered yet.

Maybe i can get hold of some mk3 golf top spring caps second hand, instead of the focus ones...don't really fancy changing to focus top mounts

Or maybe it's possible to buy the mk3 new seperately

I wish i held onto my HP kit, only got rid of them last year some 6+ years after the car! :D

Did not think i'd ever be back in a Felicia! Love it though :)

wanna just sell me your setup? :p

the vans and pickups have totally different suspension setups so they would not be compatible with each other, so it's not clear from the advert which chassis type its for because it claims to fit both, i suspect that they will be for the vans (9k chassis type) only, coilovers sets are nearly impossible to buy off the shelf for a skoda type (9u chassis type), most geezers on here resort to using ford focus front coilovers on the front... if it was that easy we would all be doing it

Depends how low you want to go. I lowered mine with springs off ebay, retained the std shocks. It took 40-50 odd mm out of the ride height. If you want to go much lower than this then you will need some special coilovers made.

Hey man, old post I'm quoting I know but juat Wondering how the standard shocks held out? There's 2 spring sets on eBay, 30 drop and 60 drop I think. I want the lower one but was worried how the standard shocks would be as so far iv found no other ones for it.
