Car seats

Featured Replies

When my wife had our third child I made a resolution.....

I am not getting a bloody people carrier !!!!

So I changed from my 3 series and came back to the welcome Skoda family. I now have a beautiful L&K which everyone thinks is great especially my (now) 2 year old who just points at the sun blind until I open it :giggle:

But I need the best suggestions to get three car seats along the back seat. My twins are 6 so are class 3 ? and my youngest is two

Any ideas guys

should have got a car with three individual seats, such as a Citroen berlingo, vw touran, vw sharan, ford s max, ford galaxy, seat alhambra, and many more since the superb has a single rear bench might be a bit of a squeez

Your twins must be on boosters so, one child in front seat on booster with the other two in the outer seats on the rear bench. Missus will need to go in middle on rear bench. Simples!

I did this with a family of 5 in a VW Polo before getting the Octavia estate.

Here's a recent post with more info http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/269397-how-many-child-seats-fit-in-a-superb/.

While your twins can go on booster seats, the side and head support & protection of a forward facing seat will always be better.

I appreciate it's a balance of safety/convenience/financial means - ideally we'd all drive wearing five-point harnesses, with all passengers facing backwards .... actually, that's not a bad idea, with several other non-safety related benefits.
