Fitting 6 CD Changer to my Fabia MK1 vRS

I'm hoping someone can help with this.

There is a guy on here selling the CD changer from his MK1 Octavia, which I am interested in buying for my Fabia MK1.

Would I be able to fit this to my Fabia? If I bought the fixing brackets and wiring harness separately?

I know that in the Octavia the unit is fitted in the boot, but on the Fabia it is fitted under the front passenger seat.

I have tried phoning a couple of Skoda dealerships for advice, but they don't have a clue.

I have a feeling you can. This is actually posted in the wrong section though. I'll ask a mod if it can be moved to the more relevent section. (probably Care & Maintenance, sub forum In Car Entertaiment ICE)

thanks mate. I posted it in the 'Ask Skoda' section because I thought they would be the best people to answer.

Tried phoning a couple of Skoda dealerships today and speaking with the parts dept. Might as well have spoken to my 5 year old daughter... :think:
