  1. Deleted now I understand but this isn't the first time this person has caught them out.
  2. Yup. Username ≠ to your account. Old posts automatiacally get the username's new tag as well.
  3. The level of knowledge of those we (some of us) trust to govern us couldn't be lower. That's not just an opinion. It's a matter of fact. Wasn't it Truss who confused the Black Sea with the Red Sea when she had a crack?
  4. Just posting a couple of facts relevant to the aforementioned, John nothing more. It's no good people burying their heads in the sand or even sticking their fingers in their ears IMO.
  5. Humza Yousaf facing calls for a VONC from D.Ross of the Scottish tories.
  6. He doesn't come out looking any better in a longer clip I found. A disgusting specimen. Worth remembering that small boat crossings have increased massively since Brexit. UK no longer has the right to return migrants to e.g. France either because of Brexit (no longer a Dublin agreement out of the EU). Oops 🤫 SpanishDan1_1280x720_20240425_200700.mp4
  7. John McDonnall (ex Lab MP) was saying on Peston that there's been rumblings of a June or July election inside Westminster. The sooner the better IMHO. Makes me wonder if the Tories are expecting a hammering in the May Council and Mayoral elections. Polling guru Prof. Sir John Curtice still betting on a November GE. Updated to reflect John McDonnell is a current MP
  8. The International Energy Agency has just published its latest report on the EV market and industry. "Electric car sales in 2023 were 3.5 million higher than in 2022, a 35% year-on-year increase. This is more than six times higher than in 2018, just 5 years earlier. ...Electric cars accounted for around 18% of all cars sold in 2023, up from 14% in 2022 and only 2% 5 years earlier, in 2018." There are some warning signs, though; in some markets the vast majority of EVs have been sold to people who can charge at home. I'd guess that at some point that market will be saturated. Also there is a trend towards larger and more expensive EVs. https://www.iea.org/reports/global-ev-outlook-2024?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3oB9oQZ-bxTbvfNN6nkfWXT3cfA-T2q1i8dNaoqh4VFOvMU8XHXiPgqqo_aem_AWIYg0j0l_YbBjbZBrOzIvAkxh0foZejHEo4wBRaF4ykTE3fOnpquvLcLGp-70AcA-h4UdkHFd41UQqFxnbgvO17
  9. More like Ethan Hunt. He wore smart specs in Mission: Impossible.
  10. Central London at the height of summer isn't really a great comparison to the countryside in winter. Does central London still get smog like that or has ULEZ and other factors reduced it?
  11. Hopefully Ben Habib, an immigrant from Pakistan who is high up in the Reform Ltd. political outfit has hammered in another nail in that group's coffin. He's openly said he'd let migrants drown to their deaths in the Channel. Even Julia Hartly-Brewer was aghast at that level of anti migrant hatred. What a disgusting little man he is and what an insight into the mind of the most extreme wing f Reform Ltd.
  12. They sat on this for over three months and did nothing. Funny how that William Wragg story which is possibly worse for the Tories has gone quiet. The cynic in me would say they sat on it knowing it might come in handy one day. Something in the bank you might say.
  13. UK's Brexit import checks set to be postponed again again. It's seemingly unworkable in practice without causing huge delays and possible price rises so instead, the UK's just waving any old crap through. Taking back control etc etc... 🤦‍♂️ https://archive.ph/vOnRv https://www.eunews.it/en/2024/04/19/london-halts-post-brexit-checks-over-risk-of-disruptions-in-goods-delivery/ https://www.itv.com/news/meridian/2024-03-25/25m-border-control-building-at-portsmouth-port-could-be-demolished
  14. Now charged with embezzlement of funds by Police Scotland.
  15. Bhaji might be flat to cut down on packaging/ get more in a carton.
  16. From the Eye "As soon as I announced 'Full steam ahead into the iceberg', the bureaucratic blob swung into action. "'Stop, for God's sake, woman. Are you mad?' shouted one old-school officer on watch and that timid cry was echoed by all the so-called establishment experts on board... But I still maintain I was right..." (From Private Eye)
  17. Mark Menzies, MP for Fylde in Lancashire seems interesting.
