Fabia makeover project

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just looking for a little advice here, I have a black 04 fabia vrs completely standard and I was thinking of exchanging for a octy but I have now decided to throw some money at it instead, I have approx 2k for a makeover and I'm looking for some ideas on where to start!

Appreciate it

312 brakes, AP coilovers, remap, rear arb, clutch & flywheel.

All of the above, maybe not the clutch if it's in good condition, cupra splitter transforms the front of the car.

Yup, pretty much bang on the money here, you could go AP Springs and shocks if Coilovers arnt your thing :) And I added another two things to it ;)

Wind deflectors! :)

The previous listed things are a good place to start, the splitter for the front is a definate 'cheap' upgrade to make the front look good, however, just look at the rides of some of the members and make a decision yourself on what you feel will look good on your car otherwise someone could just say "just paint your bonnet white" and to be honest its a terrible idea personally but someone else might like it

Advice however, dont get JOM coilovers if you have the budget for it, which it seems you do

Best advice so far.

Why HIDs? unless you do lots of night driving in places with no street lights I would have thought they are just an expensive waste, if its just the white light colour your after you can get standard bulbs that give off the white light with the same brightness as standard and cost only around £5

Always thought they look much better emanating from a car.

You have however touched on a question I was gonna stat a thread on, which I will do now. As I don't want to hijack this thread!
