Nice clean headlights

Featured Replies

I've recently been getting annoyed that my headlights were cloudy and not letting as much light out so decided to do something about it, after having a search on the Internet decided to go for the turtle wax highlight restorer and was pleasantly pleased with the result so thought I'd pass on as has made a nice difference.

As you can see made a nice difference with a bit of more work I believe could have got an even better result.

Looks like a good result! Has it made a difference to how well your headlights perform at night?

Ill be able to tell you that after tonight, be nice to get the full affect of xenon's :)

I don't think you'd need a specific polish to be honest, bit of a marketing con.

Any very mild abrasive would do the job, same as what you might us to polish out scratches on your car (not any rubbish like T cut though). I used 3M finesse IT on my headlights and use it on my bodywork too. If you have deeper more visible scratches you can use micron pads then the fine polish after.

ive used Autoglym super resin polish and Meguiars Ultimate polish and it didn't a make a difference, think you need a good cutting compound because of the material of the actual plastic/glass

WOW! That looks awesome!

I really need to try this on my headlights - that's for sure!
