My Tech, according to the dealer, was at the port in Germany last Tuesday and then they emailed me on Saturday to say it was in the UK now so might have it by this weekend.

I hope so as the tax is up on my current car next week!

They've been really good at updating me about the whereabouts of it and they're still saying I'll have it by the end of the month.

They had 20 on order I think but don't know if they're getting them all at once.

Our one was at the dock in Emden last Friday waiting for a boat. That's all I know so far. It was ordered 24th April and built on the 9th may.

Picked up my tech yesterday - w maxidot :-) very happy with first few days, 105 bhp 1.2 tsi has plenty of pull even with four people in. Not missing the vw touran yet...

Waiting to hear back from Skoda UK to see if the DAB can be activated on the Sat Nav as the MY2014 cars have DAB when the Amundsen+ has been fitted.

The guy from Customer Services is looking into it and getting back to me next week, I'll post an update when I hear something.

Skoda UK called me back today regarding DAB on the Tech.

Computer says no I'm afraid, the Amundsen+ Sat Nav on the Tech can't be activated to receive DAB like the MY2014 cars can.

Not to worry, was worth a try anyway, doesn't spoil the enjoyment I'm having.
