We got the wife a new yeti se plus TDI 110 4x4 last year and it has been epic. My company car (golf gt TDI 140) is going back on Friday so I ordered a steel grey octy elegance with the only extra of a spare wheel... The garage (Robert Eardley in stoke) so far have been excellent again. Jus hope the octy lives up to the expectations I have after the yeti :-)

I bought loads of Skodas from Robert Eardley before we left Stoke, we used to deal directly with Robert and used to get good deals and first class service, we always used the original Crewe branch. Now Robert has retired and sold up to Barlows they wanted to continue trading in hides name because of his reputation, I hope the service is as good. I'm sure you ll love the new car!!

So far no issues with RE (Newcastle branch) - Citigo came from there (their demo they only had for 3 days..) and the Fabia has been in for a checkup after having its new engine fitted in Belgium. Little niggle with the aircon, but was sorted within 2 working days so can't fault them for that. Funnily enough, their new service guy is the chap I used to deal with at VW Stoke when I had the Scirocco!

Ordered on 15 th March 2.00 Elegance with Bi-Xenon in race blue but now informed that some probs have developed with the cornering lights with the Bi-Xenon lights.so my order has been put back Anyone had any experience of this?

Bummer! I ordered 19th March with cornering fogs/halogen headlights, mine landed at the dealer today!

Strange! I ordered my Octavia a week after you ordered yours, same model but in denim blue, also with bi-xenon lights. I have not been advised of any delay to to issues with the cornering lights, in fact I had an email from my dealer last Friday to say that my car has been built and was on its way to Emden for shipment. Delivery to dealer estimated to be 2 weeks away.

How's it going with the new car Stokie? My order is the same as yours, 2.0TDI Elegance, Steel Grey...also took the option of the spare wheel along with the Canton stereo.

Hope you're enjoying it.

Quite a few with the Canton speaker option on order... Very much looking onward to hearing the owners feedback on these.
