Does a Polo Aerial fit a VRS?

Featured Replies

As above does one of the shortish aerials fit? As in thread size on the screw part?

Ive replaced my aerial base and put a new connection onto the alpine but have to use standard aerial to get any kind of a signal and it looks rubbish IMO.

So looking for a genuine part that may do the job but shorter :)

Honda short(er) ones fit IIRC...

Yeh the polo aerial fits fine. Got one on mine with no signal issues. Don't have a part number to hand but it was a similar one to this that I bought.

Had to shave a tiny amount of rubber off the bottom for it to fit.

I did try the shorter Vw sharan stubby aerial but I found the radio reception crap.

That's good to know thanks, that's the very one i was looking at!

has anyone got a link to the correct Honda Aerial that does fit, I went for a cheapo stubby aerial but now my reception is terrible, so wouldn't mind trying the Honda one,

I got a Polo short aerial on my Octy.Got it from the dealers. The part number is: 6R0 035 849 and cost £14 total.

Fits perfect to the original Octy base.No loss of reception and i don,t have any amplifier/booster.
