Had a Rapid with the plus as a loaner and was surprised to find it had DAB

What is the difference between this and my fabia + unit where apparently the dab was on but not active due to uk issues.

Is there a software/Aries upgrade that will activate the dab on other + units.

I was promised that mine would get Long Wave which it doesn't. They then said that they could convert it to DAB which it now turns out they can't.

The Amunsden+ has DAB in everything bar the Fabia so suspect that the "can't" is a "won't".

I have been reading the new Fabia catalogue, released 1st week of June, it states in the back if you order the Amundsen sat nav it includes DAB Radio. I also called SUK to confirm this and they said it will be on the car when I take delivery.

My 11 plate has the Amundsen + does not have DAB nor can it be turned on. It doesn't have the aerial input in the rear.

The DAB aerial is on the dashboard in the front windscreen. that's also mentioned in the new catalogue.

That's interesting... Is the DAB aerial a line down the centre of the windscreen? Thats what is on my vRS that I had delivered a few weeks ago. No DAB on mine unfortunately, but it would be nice to have...

Ignore my last comment....im talking ****....mis read the brochure. Although it does say that ordering amunsden also includes DAB. Which it didnt in the previous catalogue.

I miss read 'second aerial in windscreen for fm2' as the DAB one.

yes, from what I read, fm2 just allows you to have 6 more pre set channels, so if you travel a lot you can pre set your 2nd location on the fm2 and simply switch between fm1 and fm2.

As for the DAB Aerial.....ill let you know once my Monty arrives....
