Posting in the right forum. ;)

TIP, CAI, FMIC, Turbo-Back exhaust, remap.

deep pockets

Can be an expensive do. Ive just stuck with the remap.

As everyone above has said really. It does depend on the individual car though. If its in good health, been looked after and is still putting out good power for standard car then downpipe, decat, fmic, cai or good panel filter, and stage 2 remap may do the trick on a good day.

Ill admit, the only reason I went with the Stage 2 is because the FMIC was already on the car, the downpipe I also picked up for a bargain. If not for that, it would have just been Stage 1.

Its not deep pockets if you can wait for parts to pop up . I got my all my bits for £1000 . Turbo back exhaust £200 . Forge fmic £300 . Forge CAI £150 & 3" TIP £130 . Going to book in for an r-tech stage 2 remap at £300 . :) . Depends how quick you want it .

Don't forged you will need more stopping power and some handling mods. Minimum should be RARB and some Brembos up front. Power is nothing without control !

I do chuckle at people doing all this and then putting budget tyres on too :D

or buy a 2 year old Sirocco R 265 bhp mines at local dealer £22,950

Yeah because that makes sense lol

Why not spent the 22k to buy a proper fast car lol

Could buy a 2011 Nissan 370z with 328bhp for £19500 even then there are faster cars for less but that's not what op was asking.

There is a lot of decent budget tyres out there, do your research, there is no need to be a tyre brand snob :wait:

It goes without saying that stage 2 will rape a tired clutch too, so best add G60/VR6 into that list too
