Do I get rid?

Featured Replies

Toying with the idea of getting a T5 transporter and selling the octy vrs. Its running stage 2 230ish bhp. I use the octavia for work every day and use it to tow the caravan too :-) just fancy a change.... what to do?

I got rid of my Octavia and regretted it straight away. I needed the extra rear space for three kids seats, otherwise I wouldn't have traded the car in as it did everything I needed really well.

Why do you need a Transporter then? I looked at them, but they were very expensive, slow, noisy and not that good on fuel either. I admit that with a few choice styling mods they can look pretty cool, but it's all down to what you want it for I guess.

Hmmm I see what ur saying. I just like the look of them. Fuel isnt an issue as mine is paid by work hense running my car every other day lol. They are fab cars... big boot for pushchair, pulls caravan well, fast, sounds nice. T5 just easier with tool box tbh thats it. U can get alot more car for 8k out there I suppose.... like an evo :-).... the wife says no though lol.

What an odd choice. No.

I sold mine in Feb this year, and bought another Vrs two weeks later. For me, nothing compares for the price, however if getting a T5 suits your needs, you're better off with that I guess. But as said, you'll most likely regret it lol

Yes think I drove your old 1 didn't I? Silver y reg stage 1. U came to doncaster for something off me if I recall. Cant remember what tho lol.

Yeah I bought an intercooler off you lol Was sometime last year. Had to sell the intercooler and the car sadly :-( And like I said bought another vRS lol So in 3 years, I've had 3 Octavia Vrs's lol You will definately miss yours :-)

Can i be so bold as to ask if a vRS estate would have enough extra boot space for the tool kit?

The boot isn't much bigger on an Estate really, just a whole lot taller and more accessible.

'Tis a very good point though...
